List of 5 Best WordPress Plugins For Your Blog
By Peter | February 18, 2011
If you are a blogger at least for the last two years, you would know just how much better WordPress has become. In fact you wouldn’t be wrong to call it a very good Content Management System although credit should be given to the WordPress development team for doing such a great job.
For most people WordPress is the most suitable blogging platform to use because it is so easy to install and because of the many powerful plugins that you can find free and available for upload anytime.
Well here’s 5 WordPress plugins that I always used as they help to make all my blogging tasks run like clockwork taking away the real work but keeping the fun. It’s allowed me to grow my affiliate marketing business to what it is today.
1. Your blog readers like getting information fast….
Search Everything – Your new blog reader comes to your blog for a reason and that is to find something that he has just searched for in Google or other search engines. When he lands on your blog how fast he gets to see this information probably depends on how fast you also puts him in front of your products or services that you are promoting on your blog.
This WordPress plugin provides this visitor a search utility which allows him to perform searches on all your previous posts. This plugin written by Dan Cameron, makes it easy for your visitors by giving them more search options and bringing them to the searched pages, attachments, comments, and custom fields.
2. Engaging your readers in your current projects and conversations….
Subscribe to Comments – This plugin works well by allowing your visitors to comment on your blog post, and provide an opportunity to subscribe to e-mail notifications of other people’s subsequent comments. Mark Jaquith, wrote this plugin which also allows your visitors to unsubscribe from any posts or block all notifications, or change e-mail addresses.
3. Saying thank you to your new readers to your blog….
Comment Relish- is a simple WordPress plugin written by Justin Shattuck that automatically sends an e-mail message to any of your new readers who have just commented on your blog for the very first time. Many people would be happy to receive a “thank-you for coming to my blog” message and may even become your repeat visitor to your blog by using the RSS you put on this default email.
4. Giving your readers a way to communicate with you…..
Contact Form: To be a successful blogger or Internet Marketer, the key to this success is that you must make yourself available to your prospective customer or business partner. Be contactable at all times and always reply to anyone who asks you a question. It could be business related or even be some other help they are asking. Putting up a simple contact form visibly on your blog help to achieve this purpose.
5. Don’t underestimate the little things your put on your blog….
Bookmark Me: If you have taken the trouble to write a good, interesting post, wouldn’t you like it to be seen and read by as many people as possible? Then a good way to reach out to more people is to allow your readers to bookmark these pages that they like at social bookmarking sites such as Twitter, Del.icio.us, Technorati, StumbleUpon. Simple yet very powerful method.

Discover How I Get Unstoppable Free Targeted Traffic To My Blog
By Peter | February 4, 2011
Generating targeted traffic to your blog is really not that difficult if you take the trouble to learn how to effectively do this. However if you want to see any measure of success, you must be prepared to commit your time and effort to learn and master simple, yet proven techniques of traffic generation.
Here are a few simple techniques that you can immediately start with:
1. Update your blog regularly
Ask yourself if you preferred to visit a blog that has been regularly updated with interesting and useful contents or are you happy to visit one that looks like an abandoned blog. Well of course you would choose the former. Frequent updates on your blog helps to build a relationship with your readers who will come back for more knowing that there will be fresh content being added.
2. Tag your Posts
Tags that you add on your blog posts work quite like any other links and they are quickly found by the search engines. They also help more people find your blog when they perform searches in many of the popular blog search engines that matched any of your tags. In other words if used correctly they can help to bring more traffic to your blog whenever you post new contents.
3. Search Engine Optimization
Many new bloggers can get quite overwhelmed by the work involved in Search Engine Optimization. While we agree some of the work takes a fair amount of time like learning and following a link building strategy that works for their business, there are also a few things that can be easily done. For example, you could learn how to optimize your web pages or blog posts so that the major search engines can find them easily. Write relatively long articles and focus more on writing theme content using LSI (Latent Semantic Indexing) keywords. This is an excellent way to get more targeted traffic due to the many long tail keywords Google finds in your content.

The first time I met Lee McIntyre was in 2007 at the warrior forum, and I immediately contacted him, asking for a JV. At this time, my seo ebook was brand new (and it quickly became a best seller), and I asked Lee if he could promote it for me.
He replied that he wanted to see the product. A couple of days after that, he told me that he liked it, and we started the joint venture. Lee had one condition though. He asked me to make a special discount for his subscribers.

Beat the Problem Why 95% Internet Marketers Failed Their Online Business
By Peter | September 12, 2010
It does not matter if you are an affiliate marketing expert earning big bucks or a new Internet Marketer struggling with too much information, too little time. There are 5 very important principles of Internet marketing that you should be aware of to keep yourself in the right path to success.
There are many online marketers who ignored these principles and paid dearly for that by quitting their business early, adding to the statistics of about 95 percent failure rate for new startup online business. It would be ashamed if you were to let this happen to you too especially if you have spent so much time and effort on your new found business. This article will help you understand just what it takes to achieve success and know what kind of obstacles you have to overcome before getting there.
The First Principle: Patience
It’s probably not your best virtue but for the success of your business, you do need lots of patience. Finding success and generating a regular online income do not happen overnight. Building a business from scratch takes time just as in any other businesses too including the traditional ones. Knowing this helps in your mental strength and learning process as you won’t lose interest at the slightest onset of disappointments and setbacks in your Internet Marketing journey. The road to success is never a smooth one.
The Second and Third Principles: Persistence and Perseverance
Many marketers lose heart at the slightest kind of difficulty. They complain about all the laborious tasks they need to do and when they don’t see any positive results, they simply abandon the work they have been taught to do. Many of these marketers started an online business with the wrong mindset that it is easy and making money is a forgone conclusion. If you have such thinking, you have to change your mindset immediately and expect to work really hard before seeing any positive results.
The Fourth Principle: Prepare Your Website For the Search Engines
As an online business owner, you are expected to learn some basic search engine optimization skills. Then apply this knowledge continuously in getting your website well optimized, more relevant, and friendly to both the human visitor and the Google bots. You will learn too that getting free organic traffic is vital to your business because without traffic, there can be no sales. Proper SEO helps you rank high in the search engines so as to maximize your website traffic.
The Fifth Principle: Write Articles
The fifth principle is learning to publish many articles. Writing and publishing articles both for your website as well as external article directories is one of the most effective ways to increase traffic to your website. It also generates lots of one-way incoming backlinks to your website which in turn helps you rank higher in the search engines and thereby giving you even more traffic.

Why Getting To Google’s Page 1 Search Engine Ranking Is Not Good Enough?
By Peter | September 3, 2010
If you have an online business and own at least a website to conduct your business, you would want to rank many of your website’s keywords in Google’s page one of its SERP or Search Engine Results Page. But is this good enough?
Well quite frankly, it’s not good enough to be just on page 1, unless you are in the top 3 positions in Google. Let’s just look at some important search engine statistics to determine some startling discovery. These statistics show that 90 percent of searchers don’t go beyond the first page, with 42 percent searchers click on position 1, 12.5 percent on position 2 and a mere 8 percent click on position 2. So if you do the math right if your website does not rank on the first 3 positions in Google, you are losing website traffic, yeah more than 60 percent to be exact.
Well if your website is not highly ranked in Google there are many things you can do to boost your rankings, although it does take some time to make this happen.
Title Tag
Putting your keyword in the title tag of your home page is an important factor in helping you rank higher in the search engines. Occasionally I do see many websites who prefer to use their company name in the title tag but hopefully they know what they are doing. As far as I know there are 2 ways why people do this. Either they are more concerned about promoting their brand name or company name so that takes priority over ranking high on their main keywords or they simply made a mistake.
URL
Many SEO experts and other marketers who own hundreds of domains are convinced that having your keyword in the domain helps to boost your ranking for that particular keyword. This is even more evident in people who know how to find a profitable niche . They do so by targeting smaller niches using the exact keyword phrase as their domain name. You can choose to use your brand name or company name in your domain but you have to remember this makes your job at ranking in the top 3 positions much harder.
Age of Domain
Does domain age carry more weight in helping a website to rank higher in Google and other search engines? This has been debated for many years by many marketers who will swear by their interesting theories. Well don’t bet on Google to bare it all here but from my frequent visits to forums there seems to be more people convinced domain age matters. Their strongest arguments: Well- established websites have very old domains, so reverse engineering suggests having an older domain helps to make a well established site and Google loves that. Another argument is that the all familiar Google Sandbox affects new websites more than the older ones. In fact most marketers give it 6 months before you are free of getting the dreaded Sandbox.

How Do You Create Your Own Affiliate Product?
By Peter | August 27, 2010
If you are a serious affiliate marketer, you really should consider creating your own affiliate product. When you finally make this happen, you know it’s going to let you take one giant step to another level of success in your Internet Marketing journey. But what does it take to create your very own affiliate product?
1. Finding a Need
You don’t wake up one morning to decide you are going to spend the next few hours to create a nice product to sell. Well it takes a lot more planning than that. It has to start with finding a need that people want or demand in your niche. The best place to be doing that is to visit your top forums to get some vibes on what are the liveliest discussions, debates, suggestions and just what people are looking for. They often represent a good demographic of what most other people are looking for to satisfy a need or want.
Be prepared to join in these discussions and to pay attention to what these people are telling you. Essentially you are trying to fill a need, a missing puzzle if you may and a pressing demand from a big group of people. You certainly don’t want to misunderstand people since the information you are gathering will be serving the greater good. If you get it wrong, it would be a grievous mistake as you are going to create a product that nobody has any need for.
2. What is your goal?
Now after having in mind the product you want to create, the next step takes you through what your goal is for that new product. Most people who are serious marketers never put ‘making money’ as a goal in their first product if they have thoughts of creating more products in the near future. Instead, a good goal to target is to focus on branding yourself or to get a massive number of new subscribers.
Most successful marketers have learned from Internet Business Coaching to use their first product to plan for bigger things for their business to achieve long term success. Making money on the first product is never that important. It may be this reason that in the first very affiliate program, more commission is given to affiliates to help the affiliate marketer attain these goals that he has set for himself.
3. Outsource your work
Most people get the wrong idea that when someone creates a new product he has to be responsible for anything and everything necessary to finish that product – a cradle to grave involvement. No, that is not true and you are free to outsource whatever work that you feel other people can do the job better or faster especially if it’s a little technical to you. For example you can’t make a software program even if you wanted to as that belongs to someone with the right skill and creativity to get that part of the product done. Your job however is to keep the costs down so that your final product remains affordable to all of your customers.
4. Your Product Launch Date
Once you size up the amount of work involved to put your first product together, you should determine how much time is needed to accomplish all the various tasks. Remember that you assumed responsibility for the whole project and you have to manage all the people who have been tasked all the different jobs you had assigned. Meeting the product launch date is very important because you would have communicated this date to all your customers, JV partners and other prospects.
Final Thoughts
Your first product is important because you learn what is involved in creating new products for your business. Having your own affiliate programs allow you to recruit an army of affiliates selling your products and services and is a natural step to take to learn how to make big affiliate commissions.

Are You Making These 7 Affiliate Marketing Mistakes That Can Kill Your Business?
By Peter | August 20, 2010
Making mistakes while working in your online business is expected especially if you are a new Internet Marketer. Well to err is human, but it is important however to learn from these mistakes and not to make them again. This is true especially for affiliate marketing because this is such a lucrative business that sees an enormous amount of new entrants seemingly attracted by the high earning potential.
Here are the top 7 affiliate marketing mistakes that are commonly made by the newer affiliates. You may like to go through this list to see if you are making any of them so that you can avoid them and start getting better results for your business.
1) Focusing on too many programs at one time
That’s one of the most common mistakes new affiliate marketers tend to make simply because they get too carried away by so many good programs they found interesting to promote. The truth is if you are just starting, it takes some time to even learn the benefits and advantages of affiliate marketing and it’s better to dedicate to just one program first. You don’t want to swallow more than you can chew.
2) Not doing your Pre-Sell
Many new marketers tend to focus too much on every detail about the product when they should be doing more pre-selling and simply getting the client interested. You may have learned from some Internet Business Coaching that you just need to provide enough information to entice them to visit the merchant’s website to get all the information they need to decide if they want to buy.
3) Never tried The Product
If you want to be convincing in the product that you’re promoting, you should try to use the product yourself. When you do this, you can provide your honest opinion about the product to your prospects. This helps you find the answers to some of the questions you yourself were asking about the product and help you write a more meaningful and believable product review on your website.
4) Pages Too Cluttered
Having all your pages that are cluttered with too many sales products can really confuse your visitors who will have no choice but to leave your website very quickly. If you are experienced enough to promote more than one affiliate program, then make sure you dedicate a full page to one program. In fact the most ideal situation is to dedicate a whole domain to one product and this is a viable suggestion as purchasing a domain is relatively inexpensive.
5) Choosing Wrong Products
An affiliate program that appears right for you may well turn out to be your worst choice especially if you had not done enough research on the topic or totally ignored it.
6) No Email Opt-In
While your objective in affiliate marketing is really to send as many potential customers to the merchant’s website as possible, don’t forget to try to obtain their email addresses before you sent them there. You should know this is so important to you for your email marketing which you will soon learn is a very effective marketing technique.
7) Lack of Self-Belief
The success of your business depends largely upon yourself as the affiliate marketer so it is important that you believe you can succeed in it. Unless you are a super affiliate who has thousands of affiliates selling your products, you are pretty much a one-man operator. You have to learn, manage, grow and succeed in your affiliate marketing business and it’s not going to happen without confidence and self-belief in yourself.

Here’s How You Can Easily Recycle Your Existing Content
By Peter | August 14, 2010
As an Internet Marketer, you should know just how important it is to write good quality content for your website, blog or when you submit to article directories. You have so much to gain when you write quality contents than when you write mediocre or sub-standard articles no matter what excuses you give yourself. Content is still King by the way and is most likely going to be that way too – perpetually that is.
Any article marketing course will tell you writing as many as 5 articles a day to generate backlinks and increase your branding or marketability has always been put to the test by many people. Online Contests have always been about such challenges with the winners actually attesting to gaining unbelievable benefits.
Unfortunately however great the benefits are in doing massive content creation, the reality is that most marketers just don’t do this nor can they maintain such labor-intensive efforts to write so much. The fact remains that to write great content, much research has to be done and that takes too much time. It also boils down to one simple reason -not everyone enjoys writing.
How To Recycle Your Content
A new way to create new content anytime is to recycle your existing content so that you save all the trouble and time in doing any research for your article. You actually get to earn more money too because your time spent can be used in many ways to generate more income for your business.
Many people have the wrong perception that content has to be in text form. In fact these people never realized that both video and audio could serve as good content for your business as well. Such media is gaining popularity among most people as this technology has grown exponentially over recent years.
Here is what you can do for your existing article. Simply turn some of these articles into an audio recording using any free softwares that are available today like Audacity. All that you need to do is simply read out your selected article loudly into a microphone and then record your own voice. When you are through making this recording, then start distributing to your targeted audience as a podcast.
Similarly you too can convert your article into video format just by using Powerpoint and a simple and free video recording software, called Camstudio.
Audios and Videos are now the “in-thing” among people because they are more interesting and interactive as they are associated with fun and being sociable. It is therefore important that you try to align your online business marketing techniques to meet this new demand from your website traffic.
