I decided to start this work-10 products with blog system. But I have some questions:

1 – After I build my blogs, will I have to update them?

Answer: Yes, you will need to update your blogs to drive search engine traffic. In fact, the more frequently you update your blog, the more traffic you will receive. Updating your blog frequently is one of the easier ways to increase blog traffic.

2 – If I have to update the blogs, how often will I have to do it?

Answer: The best is every single day, but I know that it’s not easy to do this continuously. I suggest you make a new post every three day, but if you can post every day, by all means do it. You just need to make this a habit.

3 – Again will I need to send pings?

Answer: Yes, you will send ping after new posts. But if you use wordpress, this will be done automatically for you. You don’t have to do anything. That’s why I use wordpress by the way.

I believe that blogger also send pings after you post.

4 – How can I update to the blogs?

Answer: As for updating the blogs, you will need to write short 250 words articles. One of my private coaching clients is updating his blog with articles he gets from ezinearticles, but he needs to change that and write his own article to funnel all the traffic to his own and affiliate offers.

Here is a little “trick” that I use to increase my traffic with the less effort possible. I use my website, my blog, and ezine articles for this strategy.

Today, we will talk about how I use my blog’s statistics to increase my monthly traffic.

The blog

I have a couple of blogs (both wordpress and blogger), and I try to write a couple of posts every week.

By the way, if you don’t have a blog, I don’t know what to say… except go to blogger.com and get started today. I recently wrote a little tutorial about creating a blogger blog for affiliate marketing if you are brand new to this.

Now, let’s come back to the method: for my Internet Business Coaching blog, all I do is clicking on the “Blog Stats” link (it’s in your wordpress dashboard), and it brings me to a page full of statistics.

The next step is to click on: “Top Posts & Pages”.

Once I am there, I can find out what are my most visited pages, and see what my visitors are interested about. I can choose to view by 7 days, 30 days, Quarter, Year and all time as well.

Once I know this, I will take the most viewed articles and write a series of posts with a tutorial, or a case study. This will dramatically increase the traffic to the blog.

And since it is a topic that your visitors are interested about, you could even create a short report or a membership around that topic.

2010 is a turning point for your Internet business. Those who understand the game will make more money and work less. Those who don’t get it will struggle to build a real business.

2009 is gone for good. It will never come back.

I must say that last year wasn’t like the previous years. Lot of slaps… Google, the FTC, Ezinearticles… It seems that everyone is after “thin” affiliates.

I’ve been preaching that you should play the “quality” game for years. Too many so called Internet experts claim that you can make it with “ok products”. Hmm, this was possible a couple of years ago, but not today. Not with the web 2.0.

Let me tell you where my online business is going in 2010.

1. More Paid Advertising

In the past, I really used to like the “so called” free traffic sources. Don’t get me wrong, they still work, and you can still make money with article marketing, blog commenting, forum marketing and all the others.

The only thing is that those methods take a lot of your precious time.

Last year, I’ve mostly used paid traffic method, and although I used the free traffic generation sources, I outsourced most of it.

Recently, I started in the media buying world I bought the traffic evolution program, and I am a very satisfied customer. I learned everything I needed on the subject, and I already started. So far, I think that I have great success with this. It came handy for me because I’ve never been a fan of Adwords.

So for me, it’s Media Buying.

What about adwords? As Eben advised in his get altitude program, it’s good to outsource. Once I am ready to go big with adwords, I think I’ll just get a pay per click management guy to take care of Adwords for me.

Adwords became too complicated lately. Better to let the pros do it.

2. More products

Anyone doing business on the Internet should have this in mind. The more product you make, the more money you should earn.

If you develp quality products that your market want, they will sell by themselves.

3. Focus on list building

I’m already doing this, but what I mean by this is a better segmentation.

4. Better relationship with my subscribers

Heck, there is no point in building a list if you don’t interact with your subscribers. You want to help them to get where they want. You want to over deliver.

My strategy to turn subscribers into buyers is pretty simple. There are a lot of ways to turn prospects into raving fans of your product, and the one that works best for me is:

Offering a high quality product for pennies of the dollars to your subscribers. Once they buy your product (the first sale is the hardest) and find out the super high quality, they will be pretty receptive when you announce your second product.

Some of my subscribers tell me that they will buy anything I release in the future. No need to tell you that this makes me really happy…

5. Video marketing

Video marketing is something you can’t live without. If you didn’t start yet, just make a tutorial in your niche and upload it to youtube. The next step is to leave comments on other people’s videos. It’s pretty easy to do, and you really want to get your videos out there.

Let me tell give the four letter word that will help you to make more money online next year.

Here is the word I promised: MORE.

“Help people MORE, Help MORE people, do MORE of what’s proven to work, and take MORE time away from your computer.”

Everybody know this word, but I am going to show you how to use this word to cash in in 2010.

Ask yourself: How much did you earn monthly in 2009?

Let’s say you earned $300 per month on average?

Here is what you need to do:

1. Stop

STOP everything you are doing and …

THINK …

You need to understand that if you are still at $300 per month, there is something that you need to change to go to the next level.

You are well on your way to earn $1000 per month, and then more than that because…

Obviously, you are doing something right.

This leads us to …

2. Plan

Whenever you start a new project, you should write down your plan. Your business plan is nothing complicated.

Having a plan is crucial for your online business.

In fact, if you don’t have a plan right now, you should stop WHATEVER you are doing RIGHT NOW and write your plan.

Just write down your slogan: “What do you want to accomplish online?”

Let’s say you are selling (or promoting) a “learn Spanish” software. If I was you, I’d just write on a simple physical paper:

Wait …

The wrong way to do it is: “I’ll get people to buy this software even if it doesn’t help them to speak Spanish because I’ll make money and this is the only important thing for me”

Well, I prefer this way:

“I want to help people to learn to speak Spanish because this will help them improve their lives”

It seems pretty simple, but by doing this, you are going to change your mindset, and people will feel that you really want to help them, and they’ll start to TRUST you.

Many newbies fail online because all they do is SELLING. It’s strange, and I don’t really know how, but people can FEEL (behind their screen) if you care about them or not.

It’s not really about selling, but about Helping others to get what they want.

Now that you wrote your slogan, how are you going to achieve it?

a. Will you do it alone?

Doing it alone is NOT the smart way of doing business online. Get other people to help you (outsourcing).

You can get people on Elance to do your “non money-making” job for $3 to $8 an hour.

b. What online advertising method will you use? How?

Online marketers like this word: TRAFFIC, FREE TRAFFIC. They like doing a lot of PPC, article marketing, Squidoo… while they don’t work on improving their conversions at every step of the sales process.

3. Is Traffic Better Than Conversion? or What?

I often hear people say: “I want traffic to my website”.

Do you see the mistake here?

Newbies don’t care if their website CONVERTS (into sales or subscribers). All they want is traffic! This is one of the MOST important reasons why you don’t make more money online.

It’s pretty crazy that newbies don’t talk (or even think) about conversions. ?But it’s not their fault, nobody tell them what to do after all (to know the real money making strategies in the right order, you need to get a mentor).

We’ll talk about conversion another time though. This is a very important subject that you can’t afford to avoid if you are serious about your Internet business.

The TRUTH about FREE TRAFFIC METHODS:

There is no such thing as free traffic. You are paying with YOUR time, that’s it.

Let me ask you a question? What is worth MORE for you? Time or Money? (I hope it’s time…).

But…

These traffic methods DO work, and you should use them.

The TRUTH about TRAFFIC.

You do not want to use only ONE source of traffic.

You NEED to use SEVERAL available sources of traffic, BUT with a good methodology and a plan… PLUS, you need to know your metrics (i.e. your numbers)

Let me give you 2 examples:

Example #1 (the Wrong way to do business online):

“I tried to make money with PPC, but I’ve lost $150 and made one sale of $37. I’ll never use ppc again”. or “I wrote and submitted 45 articles to EZA and only made $27, this sucks, it doesn’t work” or “I’ve made 2 sales from my articles! I’ll write articles day and night.”, etc.

Now let see …

Example #2 (the RIGHT way to do business online): I will get traffic to my offer (or lead capture page) from ppc, then with article marketing, then with press releases, then with blogs, then with web 20 sites.

In fact, traffic from several sources combined is the way to go.

To get example #2 to work even better, get others to help you. (ELance).

3. Improve

You need to earn more for doing less. How can you do this?

IMPROVE on what you are already doing.

Do you currently have a site?

If all you have is a free blog or squidoo lens, once you make money, invest in a domain and a web hosting.

If you have a website, TEST conversions. For 100 visitors, how many people do your most wanted action? 5%, 1%, 0.5%?

Numbers are going to help you improve your business by ten fold.

TRACK your marketing activities:

Example: last week, I registered and posted on various forums. In my sig file, I added a tracker link. Now, I’ll just test for several weeks, see what forums send me MORE leads and sales (note that I didn’t talk about traffic), and once I know what makes more the MORE dollar per visitor, I’ll outsource this and FOCUS on other projects.

4. list building

This is NOT Compulsory, but it helps you to earn MORE, and you should focus on building a list right from the start.

This is in a nutshell how the word MORE will help you in 2010 and beyond.

Here is a recap:

1. Stop
2. Think about what you’ve accomplished
3. Improve your marketing (your existing assets – websites, ebook version 2)
4. Focus on conversions
4. Only get traffic proven to convert
5. Outsource
6. Relax yourself
7. Believe in your abilities to become an Internet Hero (important)

And the most important of all: HELP your market to get what they want (of course, you don’t want to give everything for FREE, but make them sure to let them KNOW that you deliver and can help you. That’ s where you make more money online).

Follow these steps to create MORE projects and make MORE money.
