Affiliate Marketing Business Has Gone Wild – Only Those Who Are Serious Will Succeed In 2010

If you want to make money with affiliate marketing, it’s time to be serious and build a real affiliate marketing business.
I’m online for three years now, and almost every month, you have new rules (or you can call them slaps if you want). In other words, Google, Squidoo, hubpages, digg and all other decent website on the Internet are fighting against “thin” affiliates and black hat boys.
It’s getting harder for them. But those who follow the techniques that Mark Ling teach in the Affilorama Premium 2010 Edition will not suffer from all the changes in the affiliate marketplace.
This newsletter is packed with solid affiliate marketing training. In fact, it comes to enhance what hundreds of affiloblueprint members do to promote their sites.
Yesterday I was reading the FTC definitive Guides Concerning the Use of Endorsements and Testimonials in Advertising. It will take effect on December 1st, and if you didn’t read it yet, You need to do this now (it may take several days to read it all… it’s not an easy read).

I can’t talk about this since I’m not a lawyer, but all I can say is that you want to make sure that your sites (affiliate review pages, your own sales page, etc.) are FTC compliant. Failure to do this can result in $10,000.00 sanctions. It’s serious stuff.
My advice to you if you are just getting started:
Do not fall for all the latest “gimmicks” and “affiliate get rich quick schemes”. Trying to do everything yourself will be tough in 2010 because of all these new rules, and you really don’t want to be in troubles.
But don’t worry too much though. In fact, all these Internet and affiliate marketing changes will “slap” a lot of “get rich quick affiliates”, and help the real online entrepreneurs to make more money.
Just build your affiliate marketing business one step at a time, and success is almost inevitable.
Let me give you a few examples:
1. Ezinearticles.com : Just write quality content (300-400 words), and you will not have any problem. And if you promote an affiliatep product, make sure to use your own landing page.
2. Squidoo.com: Create a useful lens. Soon, the Squidoo team is going to put all the lenses with more than 9 url to the same domain on hold (I’ll talk more about this in an upcoming post)
3. Google Adwords: Create a site, get links pointing back to it, and use a landing page from this site. It’s not rocket science folks.
4. FTC: read the pdf, and make sure your sites or compliant.
5. Google search engine slap: Add more pages to your site and get those backlinks coming. Creating a wordpress blog is a wise idea.
6. And the list goes on and on… you get the picture.
These are just a couple of “fat” affiliates practices that will not get your affiliate websites banned.
