Article Marketer Now Distribute Your Articles and Content Crooner!
By Franck | October 26, 2009
If you are an article marketing user, this service is now gone. I’ve been informed by one of my team members, since he used to distribute my article via this service.
The first thing he did was switching to isnare.com. Then, he start using Distributeyourarticles.com since it’s the exact same as article marketer.
You have the choice. You can use Content crooner or Distribute your articles. I don’t know for you, but personally, I’d chose the last one. Just for the name. Distribute your articles sounds better for me.
I just created a brand new website, and right now, I am adding new articles, following my principle (The right way to make money with article marketing)
Here is what I did so far:
1. I wrote a new page for my own website
2. I added a new message in my autoresponder
3. I used propeller to get fast indexing
4. I submitted an article to ezinearticles.com
Next, I’ll let my team members do the following:
Article marketing automation, backlinks from the web 2.0, social bookmarking, blog comments and other blog posts.
So here it is.
What did you do to market your site this morning?
I’d be glad to know your traffic strategy. Are you using article marketing?

Hey Franck,
I do freelance work for Content Crooner and on their behalf, we appreciate the mention here.
Content Crooner provides the exact same basic service as the old Article Marketer with some additional new features kicked in to boot. Of course, we continuously improve existing services and plan to offer new features time to time as we grow.
But the important thing at the moment is making the transition for AM to the new system as smooth as possible for our authors. All in all, I think we’ve done a pretty good job.
We have distributed our author’s articles 1.8 million times since opening our doors on 13 Oct 2009. That’s a lot of distributions in a 2-week period.
Our back log of waiting articles is cleared and we’re ready to take on all comers. Pour it on us and we’ll show you what we can do.
I won’t poor mouth DYA; it’s not my style. All I would ask is that people give us a look and listen to what others are saying about both new services, and make an informed decision.
Reputations aren’t built on what you’re going to do and Content Crooner has already shown what we are capable of doing.
Again, thanks for the mention and hope for the opportunity to serve you in the future.
Regards,
Mike Lawson

Thank you for passing by Mike. That’s a LOT of articles in just 2 weeks. Pretty impressive numbers.
I hope you all the best with your service.

Mike, I just wanted to say that I’m really sorry. I just clicked approve on your last reply, and I don’t know what happened, but it was deleted.
Really sorry,
Franck

No worries. I just clarified that it was not 1.8 million articles distributed but rather 1.8 million distributions of articles that we had received for distribution. 1.8 deliveries, if you will.

Hey Mike,
That’s really impressive.

Hey Richard,
You may want to check with Mike, he left a comment on this post.
Try to get Content Crooner team’s phone number. It’s too bad because customer service is what makes the difference today on the web.
As for the real difference between the two, they seem to be pretty similar services.

Hey Richard,
You said: Is there an article distribution service that accepts articles shorter than 400 words?
I have, by the way, been trying to ask questions of Content Crooner but their support system won’t accept my email or password, even though I have been able to log in to my new account (I was an Article Marketer customer).
Can anyone tell me the difference between Content Crooner and Distribute My Articles?
*******
I don’t know of any off the top of my head that will accept fewer words. The reason being, no one will take articles any smaller than that to publish anyway. That word count is set by the publishers, not Content Crooner.
You must register from an account at the support desk. Your regular username/email addie will not work there until you do. I know it’s a pain, but it’s just the way they have it set up. Sorry about that, but it’s how it is. You can always ask questions over on the blog (which I manage) and I’ll try my best to find the answers for you. http://www.contentcrooner.blogspot.com/
I won’t speak for Distribute Your Articles. They can come here and address your questions on their own behalf. You can see what Content Crooner offers here: http://contentcrooner.com/features.php.
The biggest difference between the two that I see is that CC’s platform is on the ground and running strong and DYA is struggling to get out of the starting gate and may never actually even be in the race.
Also, all of CC’s features are live and functional now, most of DYA’s features are projected as future upgrades to come if and when they can launch their service successfully. If the past month is indicative of the future, that looks doubtful.
When Article Marketer split in two, the existing customers were divided randomly, yet equally, between CC and DYA. The farther away from the starting point we get, the greater the migration of the DYA customer base to CC.
Why? Because they are not being served what they need, want and paid for at DYA. It’s as simple as that. All the bells and whistles on earth don’t mean a thing if you can’t get them off the blackboard and under the hood.
Obviously, my interests lie with Content Crooner and my opinions should be taken with a grain of salt. Don’t listen too much to either side but rather watch how they perform. That will tell you more than anything else.
Regards,
Mike

Thanks Franck!

Thanks Mike. That’s exactly what I needed to know. Good luck with Content Crooner (I’ll probably go with them for a while and see how things work out).
Too bad about the 400 word limit – I have hundreds of articles already written in the 200-300 word range.
Cheers, Dick

Hey Dick,
I checked it out for you and CC will accept articles of 300 words or better. But don’t expect them to be picked up as well by publishers as those 400+ words pieces. It’s just an article marketer’s fact of life. lol
My ghostwriters are required to give me at least 550 words for the pieces we produce for others, so I never really knew what the rock bottom word count limit was at CC, or Article Marketer either, for that matter.
Any way, look for ward to seeing you there and let me know if I can be of assistance to you when you get there.

Mike Lawson

Hi Chris,
Thank you for passing by. Article marketing has always been the main component of my traffic strategy. Today, I included web 2.0, blogs and many other things to the mix.
I remember when you launched article marketer back in the days. Great job.
I hope you all the best with the new service.

Hi Franck,
I’m Emma Anderson, a forum moderator for Distribute Your Articles, and I wanted to thank you for your vote of confidence. We are very excited about all of the changes and new features being offered at DYA, and we think our authors are, too. :)
I wanted to address the questions about our service here, and welcome any others that might be floating around.
Distribute Your Articles offers the same services as Article Marketer did, with many new features in place and more in the works. We launched with the basic AM services plus unlimited pen names, and have since added the Insta-Correct feature which essentially kisses curly quote corrections good-bye automatically. While some of the new features are still being tested, in the end we’ll have the killer article marketing app. You can find out more about who we are, what we are offering, and our vision for the future at Distribute Your Articles. Feel free to become a part of our free Community Forum as well.
Best Wishes,
Emma Anderson

Hi Emma,
Thank you, best wishes for you too. Article Marketer’s founder left a comment here lately, but I erased it by mistake (second time).
I hope you all the best with the new distrbuteyourarticles

I decided to give Distribute your Articles (DYA) a try. I was disappointed. My first article was submitted to 130 article sites, but the sites were pretty low quality (never heard of them). Nothing like EZA, even though DYA advertises EZA and other top article sites on their distribution list. I had no problem submitting several of my articles to EZA manually before joining DYA, so I know my articles are up to par with EZA guidelines.
Next I decided to check out some of the sites they submitted my article to that I never heard of. Within the first 20 links I clicked, one was reported as an attack site by google, another was a broken link, another had a wordpress plugin problem, another said the article site was suspended, etc. Goodness, that happen within the first 20 links. I didn’t have the heart to continue clicking the rest of the links.
I asked for a refund from DYA. Their policy is they will give a full refund within 30 days. We will see how that turns out.
Conclusion. I have tried several of these Article Distribution Sites and none have lived up to their promos or promises. You are 100% better off submitting your article to 5 or 6 quality article sites manually than to have it submitted automatically to 130 junk sites.

Follow up on refund.
The refunding process promised by DYA has not gone smooth. First request they responded with an email to try to talk me out of it. They question my common sense in wanting a refund.
I replied and insisted I get a refund. WoW, I have gotten refunds in my time, but DYA wants to make the refund process as unpleasant of an experience as possible. Other internet companies that honored their refund policy was as simple as requesting it and you got the refund. Chris (DYA Rep & I think owner) must think others never had a refund to their paypal account before to compare DYA’s bureaucratic nightmare to be refunded as they promised.
Despite their refund policy, I was persistent and did as they asked. Now I wait for the refund or their next excuse of not refunding as they promised.
p.s. if you do decide to deal with DYA, keep copies of everything and also, check out the sites they submit your article to.
