How To Write an Seo Press Release To Ramp Up Traffic And Sales

Writing press release is a very effective way to drive traffic to any website, and I make sure to submit press releases at least once a month.

I use both paid (like Prweb.com and 24-7PressRelease.com) and free press release services to launch my own products.  I also use seo press releases to promote special pages of my websites, or promoting affiliate products. Read below to see my press release examples.

Sometimes, I will use the $200+ Prweb feature to give an “seo boost” to a new website (Prweb is a trusted site, so it helps to get some link juice from them).

Below, you will find an example of how I used Press Releases to launch one of my products (my search engine optimization ebook):

How I promote my own products with press releases:

1.  The Launch

I wrote the first Seo Press Release in August 1,2007 when I launched my seo ebook back in the days:

2. Getting More Traffic

Then, I wrote another seo press release a couple of months later as a part of my overall traffic strategy:

How I promote affiliate products with press releases:

I also promote affiliate programs with press releases, since it’s fast and easy.

All I do is targeting these two keywords:

Keyword #1: Product Name

Keyword #2: Author Name

Pretty easy technique!

Here is an example of one of the sites I used when I promoted the affiloblueprint: Affiloblueprint Press Release . I got many clicks from this release, so it works very well.

Bottom line is that you can target long tail keywords with little competitong and make a killing.

    With PR Web, do you always use their $80 service?.

    I can’t see nay option to list a Press Release for free with them

    Hi,

    @ Francois, I’ll make another post tomorrow with the list I use.

    @ Glen, With Prweb, I use the $200+ features for new websites (for the backlinks). I only use this feature one time, and only with sites that are profitable.

    As for the free service, prweb was free back in the days, but now, it starts at $80.

    I haven’t used their $80 service for a while though. 24-7press release does a good job at $49 and you have live anchor links.

    I have a secret paid press release website that make a killing, but I can’t post this one on my blog because it will be abused…

    Thanks for the sample press releases.

    They seem to me havibg been written in the same way one usually an article.

    So this works and it’s good news for all of us who read you on a regular basis.

    Yes, Seo Press releases work… and they are not difficult to write. From my experience, you’d better focus on long tail keywords, and do it several time.

    Don’t just rely on one press release.
