Affiliate Marketing Site Evolution – Case Study
By Franck | March 31, 2009
Today I wanted to show you how I started my affiliate marketing site, and the different changes I made over the years.
In fact, you should always try to improve your existing marketing material.
As they say, you don’t need to keep it right, just get it going, and improve later.
This website made me money from day one, and it continues today. I started it as an affiliate, promoting other people’s products, and now, it’s selling my own affiliate marketing product.
It’s my system, and it works. You get paid and get to know exactly what the market wants while you are creating your own product.
So here we go, I used the wayback site: Way Back Machine
By the way, this little tool let you see how any website evolved over the years. It’s good for competition analysis, because you can find many secrets in just a few minutes.
This took us all the way back to june 2006…
1) Here is the site in 2006:
1. When I first launched it: Click here
2. Later on:
2) Now, let’s see the site in 2007-08 (Not that many changes)
3) Now, let’s see the site in 2009 (promoting my own product now)
That’s it.
Are you continually improving your existing assets?
If not, make sure that you revise your marketing material and find new ways to make more money, the kaizen style.
