How To Cash In With Non Internet Marketing Forums?

Forum marketing works best with Internet marketing and business forums.
1. Making posts in forums
In other niches, it may seem more difficult to re-purpose your articles as forum posts, because most of the forum (like in the weigth loss niche for example) owners are savvy marketers and do not allow affiliates and merchant owners alike to “spam” their affiliate link in their sig file.
What to do if you are not in the Internet marketing niche?
Here is what you need to do.
- Post regularly and help people
- Patience, it’s going to take some time
- Write awesome posts in the niche, and show that you are an expert (well, if you are not, you can outsource at guru.com)
- Add your a link to your website in your profile
If you post valuable stuff, many people will click on your profile to learn more about you and what you have to offer. You will also receive pm from desperate people searching for help.

I totally agree that it can be tricky to not seem like a spammer when posting in other niches.
Being helpful to others in a forum and including a link to one’s website or blog in one’s signature file is an approach that can really work well over time for sure!
For example, for a few years I spent a lot of time posting and researching on nutrition related forums. If I liked someone’s posts, or they caught my attention in any way (even if it was for negative reasons!) I would be extra curious about them. If they had a signature file with a link, I’d usually click on it. Sometimes their website or blog was nutrition-related, sometimes not, but it was always interesting.
One member, a very helpful and smart guy named Chris MasterJohn, now sells nutrition related reports and has a very comprehensive website. He also makes money writing articles for a nutrition related magazine and does some public speaking, too. He got those opportunities by being involved in nutrition largely as a volunteer at first. Pretty cool.

Thank you Lillea, it’s the proof that forum marketing is working.
In fact, anyone who enter a forum TODAY in ANY niche and is a REAL expert in his niche can make a killing by helping others.
