How To Set Up A Blogger Blog to Promote Affiliate Products

Free Affiliate Marketing Training - Lesson 3: How to Quickly and Easily Create Your Blog
Here is the third step in the affiliate marketing tutorials series.
Once you grabed your affiliate links inside the affiliate marketing training center, the very first you need to do is to create a blog.
The ‘ONE minute blog creation technique’…
Why you need to create a blog?
Because it works! Plain and simple.
Another reason is that search engines love blogs, and you will receive a LOT of traffic from your blog. And if you remember, MORE TRAFFIC = MORE COMMISSIONS.
Also, blogs are excellent to presell your visitors because it doesn’t seem like you are try to sell them something.
Remember: People like to buy, but they hate being sold!
Ok, let’s create a new blog now:
Step 1: Go to http://blogger.com
Here is the page you get when you are there:
At this point, just click the big orange button that says: “create a blog”, and go to step #2.
Blogger Home Page
Step 2: Just follow instructions on the page and click continue:
Enter your email, password (make sure to write it down somewhere), enter the verification keywords, and then, click on the orange arrow:
Step 3:Create your blog title and url
Now, simply create your blog password and url
Example: Title: Make Money Online With Affiliate Programs
The Url will be: http://affiliatemarketingsupertips.blogspot.com
Then click continue…
Step 4: Choose your blog template
There are many templates to choose from, just pick one (you can change it later) and continue…
Step 5: Start blogging and write your first post
That’s it, your blog is created!
Make sure to keep your password and email address handy, and don’t forget your blog’s url.

Today, as a member of my free affiliate marketing training you are going to learn how to get your affiliate links right inside the member area.
Why do you need an affiliate link?
It’s simple, we need an affiliate link to make money. Whenever someone click on your affiliate link and buy the Affiliate Profit Mentor, you will make a commission. Let’s call this the “two minute link getting” technique.
Don’t worry, it’s nothing complicated. All you need to do is to follow these simple steps. If your already joined an affiliate program before, this will be nothing groundbreaking, but many people are just getting started and need to know the basics.
Before we start, I am sure you noticed that this post isn’t password protected. It’s just that I wanted to give to my new visitors a chance to join this free affiliate marketing training.
It’s easy to start, if you are not a member yet, just click on this link (Affiliate Marketing Training), and join right now, because all the future posts and super affiliate tactics and tricks will only be open to my affiliates.
Let’s start now.
Step 1: Go straigth to the login page at: (for registered member, click here to log in, if you are not registered, click here to join)
Once you are there, you will see this (see picture below):
All you need to do is to add your Affiliate ID and your password in the box, and click login.

Step 2: Getting your affiliate link
Now, you are in the affiliate area.
There are many things that you can do, but all you need to do right now is to do these two things:
1. Get your affiliate link
You will copy and paste this link (see image below, your link will be right there, in the red circle - if we can call it a circle…) in a note pad file.

2. Keep your desktop Organized
Beware, make sure that you know where you save your links and all the other tools you need for your business. For this, we are going to create 3 folders:
Here is what to do:
1. If you didn’t do this yet Create a new folder (on your desktop or in your documents) and call it: “Online Business 09″. Everything related to your online business should go in this folder.
2. In this folder, create a new folder and call it: “Affiliate Promotion”
3. In the Affiliate Promotion folder, create a new folder and call it: “Affiliate Profit Mentor” (APM)
Now, you should have three folders.
4. In the “Affiliate Profit Mentor” folder, create a new text file, and call it: Important Links
Make sure you write down the following: the login page URL, your password and also your ID (you received all those in the welcome email when you registered).
Lastly, add your affiliate link: just write: “Main Affiliate Link”, and paste your affiliate link in the notepad.
That’s it, In the next lesson, I will show you how to create your blog in less than 12 minutes. Now that you have your affiliate link, you need to create a blog to presell the Affiliate Profit Mentor (help your visitors to click on your link) Most people get this wrong, and that’s why most affiliates are struggling, so stay tuned.

How To Write an Seo Press Release To Ramp Up Traffic And Sales

Writing press release is a very effective way to drive traffic to any website, and I make sure to submit press releases at least once a month.
I use both paid (like Prweb.com and 24-7PressRelease.com) and free press release services to launch my own products. I also use seo press releases to promote special pages of my websites, or promoting affiliate products. Read below to see my press release examples.
Sometimes, I will use the $200+ Prweb feature to give an “seo boost” to a new website (Prweb is a trusted site, so it helps to get some link juice from them).
Below, you will find an example of how I used Press Releases to launch one of my products (my search engine optimization ebook):

1. The Launch
I wrote the first Seo Press Release in August 1,2007 when I launched my seo ebook back in the days:

How I promote affiliate products with press releases:

All I do is targeting these two keywords:
Keyword #1: Product Name
Keyword #2: Author Name
Pretty easy technique!
Here is an example of one of the sites I used when I promoted the affiloblueprint: Affiloblueprint Press Release . I got many clicks from this release, so it works very well.
Bottom line is that you can target long tail keywords with little competitong and make a killing.

How To Market Your Online Business With Videos

I just started to market my business with videos, and I must admit that I’m late on this one. The first thing I did is outsourcing a video creation and submission to facebook.
The video is not genial, but as I always say, the important is to get started.
Although the video is not the best in the word (it was just a test, and you can see it here), I must say that the ranking results are impressive…
I got three rankings on the first page of Google for this keyword: Youtube.com, Viddler and Metacafe.

Now, the Youtube ranking has been replaced by another video
Here is the keyword I targeted: “learn how affiliate marketing works“, and I got three results on the first page of Google
I’m late with videos because I always stick to the fundamentals. I mean the following:
1. Your offer
2. Your market
3. Your traffic
The right offer to the right market is all what you need, and Traffic helps you to reach your targeted prospects.
Are you using video marketing in your business yet?
If you are not, you should start, and the easiest way to start is youtube.
I just added new videos in my affiliate profit mentor club to give more value to my member. I also find that videos help you to learn, and in fact, I am going to include videos everywhere: on my landing pages, on my thank you page and sales pages.
This will take a while to get all these videos done and added to my websites, but it’s one of my projects.

How Do I Make My Own Website To Start An Online Business

How Do I Make My Own Website?
Before I reply to this question, I just wanted to talk about a very important point. Actually, this is crucial for your online success.
You must have a website to make money on the Internet. When I say website, it doesn’t necessarily mean your old fashioned html site (they still allow their owners to earn thousands and thousands of dollars every single year) but you can simply use w wordpress blog like I am doing here.
You do not need to have any html (or any other complicated language) to have a web presence.
But you do need a website if you want to earn a significant income on the Internet.
I use blogs and website in my online business, and each of them has its own purpose. As an example, I use my blog to:
1. Drive traffic from the search engines (search engines love blogs)
2. Interact with my subscribers (email list and rss) and first time visitors
3. Promote my own products
4. Promote affiliate products
5. Build my lists
6. Quickly add content to my newsletter
Blogs are well known to have many distractions, and thus lowering the response to your offer (whether it’s getting a click to a paid product, or adding subscribers to your list.).
Many marketers turn their wordpress blog into a static sites, and there is no difference with a plain html site after that except that it’s easier to update.
Plus when you start using all the web 2.0 sites like Squidoo, Hubpages, Zimbio, quizilla, wetpaint and others, you have everything you need to quickly and easily create pages and pages of content.
So how do you make your own website?
There are many ways to create a website:
You can use the design dashboard which is the web design and creation software I recommend to my coaching students
2. NVU (now Kompozer)
You can use the good old NVU, it’s an open source software, it does the job and I made thousands and thousands of dollars using this tool.
3. Wordpress
You an use wordpress (I recommend that you host it on your server though) or any other blog platform, but I do recommend wordpress because it’s so easy to manage.
There is also a free option, but it will be hosted on wordpress server, that means that you are nor really in control since they can choose to delete your blog whenever they want.
4. EMERGENCY OPTION: Web 2.0 Sites
Web 2.0. sites should be used to build backlinks to your own sites, but… you can still piggyback on web 2.0 properties like quizilla and the other one I listed above. With this option, just remember that the site is not really yours, and I wouldn’t put my business in someonelse’s hands…
Building your own website is really easy, and if you don’t have your own site yet, I recommend that you start with a free blogger blog at http://www.blogger.com, it’s free, fast, and easy, and you can get started in less than 5 minutes, even if you are slow.
Plus, with your blog, you will get traffic even if you don’t have a clue about seo (search engine optimization)

Ezine Account Stat - 3,688 Article Views For April 2009

Today, I received an email from ezine article with my monthly article performance summary. I think it’s the first time, it seems to be new. I may have missed the previous once, so I don’t know.
Article marketing is one of my numerous traffic generation sources. Below, you can see some of my stats, I got 3,688 article views for the month of April alone.
The important question… How many clicks? I get around %30, so I got around 1000 visitors to my articles, divided across several niches…
It’s interesting because I’ve had old articles doing very well, while the link are not up to date. I need to change that to get the most of my efforts.
