Did you get the point? You can promote your own product (or affiliate product) via your blog, and make a killing. Add to this some social bookmarking sites and you’ll make a lot of money.
You can also set up a forum on your existing domain… It may take time to take off, but when it’s going, you will have a strong community with potential buyers day after day!
