I am not a heavy adwords user (I am more a Seo guy), however, I used my blog as a landing page to promote different affiliate products, and it was profitable.
Heck, Google love it. I gave them years of content! Don’t worry, no place for Google Slap Dance with a blog because the spider like that.
There is only a small problem with this tactic:
There are too many ways for the potential buyer to click away from your most wanted response, so you need to test this.
Plus, if you use this technique, be sure to add an opt-in form to your blog. Like this, you will build a subscriber list, and start to really build a strong business.

Yep, I’ve done this before. I used one of my blogs for my Adwords campaign and results were very interesting.
You are right though, people do click away and forget about your initial offer.
I did this with a Blogger blog and achieved some excellent Quality Score from Google (Go figure :)) I made sure I had Adsense all over the place too, so in case the visitor clicks away I can still make some money.

Yes Pawel, the quality score is really great with this method.
And Mike M has his blog all over the place for many Internet marketing keywords, so it is working.
Thanks for passing by mate.

Great Post man.
By the way, I am very impressed with your ranking for “affiliate marketing”. Darn fine job.
Take care.

Hi Chris,
Welcome, and thank you for passing by. I am reviewing a brand new Adwords product called Adwordstnt. I am watching the videos, and I learned a lot of stuff already.
It’s crazy, I’ve actually never done many of what they teach! that explains why I do prefer seo…
Anyway, stay tuned for my review of Adwords TNT.
