I haven’t verified that yet, but the one that I know is really excellent and use (it’s my second web hosting): A nice and effective Cheap web hosting solution: Host Gator.

HostGator web hosting is one of the best, yes and that’s why I use it. It’s cheap, I am on the plan at $9.95, and you have many, many feature: Cpanel, Unlimited websites and subdomains, you have everything you need to run a successful business.

It’s a good example of cheap webhosting, because it  will not harm your site.. your business.

I do not know their criteria to evalute those Top 10 cheap web hosting, but feel free to browse and it will give you an idea of what to look for when you are searching for a cheap web hosting.

After evaluating your needs, a cheap web hosting may be not what you want for your business.

You need to estimate your growth needs. Believe me, this is a crucial step BEFORE choosing your web hosting company.

You want to be sure that this web host will be able to follow you and sever you as your business is groing. If you don’t chose wisely, it will have big consequences in the future.

The last thing you want to do is to change your web hosting mid way, it can be harmful to you business.

I remember reading about a well known blogger with thousands of pages indexed in Google, Msn and yahoo, and making a lot of profits…

He wanted to host his free (Blogger) blog  on his own server, and he did that. The problem was he did a big mistake, and almost all his pages were de-indexed from Google, except a few hundreds of pages.

You must see in advance if your cheap web hosting solution will enable you to get:

• wireless capability

When you are starting, you don’t even know the importance of these different features,but I guarantee you that you will regret if you don’t take care from the very beginning.

So here we go again, a cheap web hosting without a lot of features will do well for someone who just want to share his webpage with other members of familly or friends.

If the page is down, you just say to them to come and check later, and it will not make you any harm.

I suggest you, if you want to share your stories, hobbies and adventures with others, to set up a blog. I really like blogs. This is the reason why I chose to spread the word about my web hosting adventures on this blog.

A blog is not different than a website. You can say what you want, but for me, it is just a site that you can ypdate more often, because it’s easier.

With your blog, you will not care about cheap web hosting, expensive ones, because you can have it for free! However, we saw earlier that there is some restrictions.

With blogger you can set up yor blog in less than 3 minutes.. but you don’t have total control on it.

IF your Goal is to make business on the net, do not chose a cheap web hosting. Does that mean that you got to pay a lot of money in order to be on business on the web? No, you don’t need to.

When I say cheap web hosting, I am not saying that if you find a web hosting for less than $10 a month, it is a bad web hosting.

Actually, you can find excellent web hosting companies on the market at a very low cost. For instance, Hostgator is one of these cheap web hosting companies, and believe me, it rocks.

That company is owned by the creator of the article dashboard script, which is excellent by the way. I am managing one of my article sites with their script. (Did not have time for the promotion yet).

Ok, Let’s copme back to our cheap web hosting don’t say that it is bad, but I mean that you should not chose a web hosting just because itseem cheaper, without knowing your goal, and the features you absolutely need.

A cheap web hosting doesn’t necessarily means that it is a bad web hosting.

There is several things to consider when chosing a web hosting. Here I will not talk about technical requierement (more on that later..).

The first things you must consider, before even starting your web hosting research is: What do you really want to do with your website?

Another question is: Do you really want a website?

Did you consider using a blog, that will be hosted for free! For example, Google or Wordpress. You must know that there is some restrictions though, if you chose that route..

The two ways I recommend to affirm your presence on the web is: A website and/or a blog.
